The Arcturians are one of the oldest and most advanced known species in the galaxy. Inhabiting their planet more or less quietly for many hundreds of millions of years, they faced a significant challenge when their home star expanded into a red giant. This forced them to migrate to other regions of the galaxy during a period known as the War Kulpa, forcing them into fierce battles with the Keherano, which after thousands of years lead them yet again to the brink of extinction. No longer willing to fight wars, they collectively decided to ascend beyond the fifth dimension, meaning they are no longer bound to any material plane.

Still, having participated and forged the fate of the Milky Way for more than a Kulpra, they hold a bond to the lower realm. Occasionally, they materialize in the 4.5Q realms to ease communicative efforts with lower beings. Then, they often appear in a similar appearance as the observer, as those need to mentally interpolate and re-construct their appearance far beyond material comprehension. Meaning, to humans they appear humanoid, to a dolphin, more like a dolphin. It is said, however, that they tend to have a deep, blue hue around them, which in their silhouette turns into a violet robe with mysterious symbols that constantly change. Their eyes equal the look into the deepest mysteries of the universe, and it is hard to focus on any aspect of their appearance. Only the most focused and trained individuals could distinguish between different arcturian entities.

Despite their ascension, the Arcturians maintain a carmic connection to the galaxy and serve as elders in the Galactic Federation. Although they are benevolent and aim to help others ascend, they are not deeply invested in the politics or customs of species that do not seek to follow their path. This detachment may make them appear arrogant or aloof to humans, though this is not entirely accurate. In rare encounters with humans, they still engage in acts of goodwill, attempting to assist humanity when possible. This will only happen without reinforcing their carmic bond, meaning they will follow a strict guideline of pacifism and non-intrusiveness. They would rather see their own demise, than actively participating in any war.
